This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Kaizen Surveys ("Application" or "App") for mobile devices and desktop/laptops that was created by Highercoach Corp. as well as this website ( The Application is used to create and deliver surveys.

User Provided Information

Registration is not currently required to use Kaizen Surveys. However, registering is required to access some features of the application including Export, Publish, and Sharing Surveys. If you choose not to register, keep in mind that you will not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.

If you register with us and use the Application, you will be providing access to your email address and display name associated with acloud service . We will not sell or give your email to third-parties (except where required by law - see below). We may also use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. We do not want to annoy - so any such notices would be infrequent and easy to opt out of.

Authentication with third party websites IS currently available and IS required to take advantage of certain features. These features include:

1) Syncing with Cloud Services such as Google Drive, Evernote, and Dropbox.

2) Sharing Surveys using Cloud Services.

3) Import surveys from Cloud Services.

Survey results (the answers you provide to surveys) are NOT automatically collected and uploaded to any server unless the survey is setup for cloud sync (Note that ALL Sharing Surveys use cloud sync)*. To setup Cloud Services, you will be asked to authenticate with the cloud service provider (for example Google, Evernote, Dropbox). Note that this authentication is done using standard authentication protocols (OAuth) directly with the service provider and your username or password is never made accessible nor stored in the Application itself.

Automatically Collected Information

If you choose to authenticate with a third party cloud service (at the time of writing this is only applicable to Google) the application will collect information and store it on Highercoach Corp. managed servers (including your email). This information is used to enable your account to be identified when you authenticate on another device thereby providing the ability to provide sync information (such as when a survey was run, or when a new one was created). Again, the information uploaded to these servers does NOT include the survey content nor survey results. Survey content and survey results are only uploaded to the cloud service chosen (if applicable, for example your Google Drive account) and is not available to us (creator(s) and maintainer(s) of Kaizen Surveys).

If you choose to email us (via settings in the Application) the Application may automatically populate the subject and body with certain information automatically, including the type of mobile device you use to better help us address your suggestions or problems.

When you use a survey on the Application that includes a location, the device will determine your current location. This information is stored as a part of the survey results. See elsewhere in this document for where survey results are stored. This Application does not make these results available to us (creator(s) and maintainer(s) of Kaizen Surveys).

Google Analytics (web analysis service provided by Google) is used to collect data on both the website and app. No unique user identifying information is collected (For example, the contents of surveys and survey results are NOT collected). Collected information is helpful in guiding how best to update future versions. See below for opt-out options in the App.

We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

  • with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and they have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

  • if Highercoach Corp. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Google analytics collection can be disabled in the app (but not on the website) by going to the 'Application Settings' under 'Usage Tracking and Privacy'.
